How do I cook each type of millet?Here are some basic cooking instructions for each millet:

Foxtail Millet: Rinse and soak for 30 minutes, then cook in a 1:2 ratio of millet to water for about 15-20 minutes.

Finger Millet: Rinse thoroughly and cook in a 1:3 ratio of millet to water for 20-25 minutes.

Barnyard Millet: Rinse and soak for 20-30 minutes, then cook in a 1:2 ratio of millet to water for 15-20 minutes.

Great Millet: Rinse and soak for an hour, then cook in a 1:2.5 ratio of millet to water for about 25-30 minutes.

Pearl Millet: Rinse and soak for an hour, then cook in a 1:2 ratio of millet to water for 20-25 minutes.
